These past 4 weeks we've hosted two different teams from the US, hence the scarcity of new updates. Last Friday we took the Slater Baptist group to a local lion farm. The farm also has several other big cats. Leopards are my favorite, and they have two females that are about 2/3rds grown. Surprisingly, they allowed us into the pen to play with some of God's greatest killing machines. You'd be amazed at how gentle and playful they are. Most of the time they kept their claws sheathed, but you'll see a few exceptions if you watch my face closely. Also, even though they were just playing their teeth weren't any less sharp - One of the most awesome experiences of my life.
